Dalian Laowai 26th meetup was hosted on the 13th of June. The chosen topic for that day was ‘Culture of Russia’. Together we tried to understand why Russian people are the way that we know and try to check about some stereotypes that we, as non-Russians, have about Russian people. We had a great opportunity to have Olga (student at Dongbei University of Finance and Economics) as our special guest, to make presentation about the culture of Russians and their perspectives on life and people.
Not just knowledge about their culture, on this meetup, we also learnt some Russian words that we can use on daily basis, such as:

Some found it difficult to pronounce the words, but as any other language, practice will help us to make it perfect. Overall, It was a successful meet up as we got the opportunity to meet new people, interact and introduce ourselves with what we had been taught. As Dalian Laowai we are here to serve our foreigners and we hope we meet up next time!
