A free (or affordable) health checkup program for all expats in Dalian

from Dec 20, 2019 to Jan 20, 2020.

Regular health exams and tests can help find problems before they start. They also can help find problems early, when your chances for treatment and cure are better. Which exams and screenings you need depends on your age, health and family history, and lifestyle choices.

In order to provide some medical care information to Dalian expats, we shared a piece of information of 'Dalian Friendship Hospital' , and it quickly got attention of a lady working in the hospital named Lucy. She reached out to us and proposed this idea — we liked it right away, and today together with the hospital we bring this one-month special health program for you.

We all need health checkups, especially while you are away from your home country. We also know it is embarrassing sometimes to go to a hospital in Dalian. Hope this program can help you know your health status and also if possible, less embarrassing.

For the checkup, there is a free package and also a few paid (yet affordable) packages available, you can choose which package to go with. 

Details see below:

Program Dates: Dec 20, 2019 - Jan 20, 2020.

English Speaking: English speaking doctors and nurses.

Reservation based  - please make a reserveration with us before you go. The hospital cannot take you randomly for this program.

Capacity: Hospital can only take 5 reserverations in a day for this special program (as they need to take other patients as well), from 8:00 to 11:30, and 13:00 to 16:30. Best to go from Monday to Friday, if you are going on weekends, we need to coordinate with hospital. 

Duration: 30 mins ~ 2 hours, depending on the checkup package you choose

ID Required: Please bring your passport with you.

Other Materials: If you have other medical record or information, please also bring to the doctor, who will advise you on what to do.

Health Record: The hospital will set up a health record for everyone who take this program through reservations.

Reservation fee: 25 yuan / person —  paid to dalianlaowai for the coordination work with hospital staff.
