Speaking with the interpreter
3-way call
How it works:
LipSync provides English-Chinese interperatation, on demand. When in need of language assistance, open the app and start a call if you see an interpreter available. This is especially convenient in situations in which you need Chinese language assistance but couldn't get an intepreter by your side at that very moment.
The service costs 1 USD per minute; you will get 20 USD (20 minutes of service) bonus when you first sign up. Later, you can buy more minutes via credit card. If you're unsatisfied with the service, you can get a refund.
To guarantee high-quality service, LipSync is building a network of interpreters with CATTI-2 level (or higher) certification and at least three years of professional experience.
At the moment the service is available between 9 AM and 6 PM on weekdays.
Case examples:
There was a specific situation in which Peter, a Belgian restaurant manager, had to explain a new work schedule to his Chinese staff. He opened LipSync on his iPhone, saw an interpreter named Anna online, and pressed the “Start a Call” button on the screen. He was connected with Anna within seconds. He turned on the speaker and started the briefing. Anna provided English-Chinese interpretation throughout the call, which lasted for about 15 minutes.
There was another situation in which Paula, a personal assistant, was having trouble changing a hotel reservation for her boss, because the hotel staff spoke English poorly. She was able to connect with an interpreter on LipSync and then dialed the hotel’s phone number on the “Call Number” panel of the app. Paula managed to solve the problem with the interpreter’s help within a few minutes.
It’s like having your own private interpreter who lives in your pocket. Download the LipSync app now, try it for free, and spread the word!
