The first time I got into photography was when my favorite grandma passed away.

At that moment, I realized that life can perish unexpectedly.

And all there's left is the memory of old days that will never come back.

But every time I look at an old photograph, there is a special feeling of warmth.

最开始想要去摄影记录生活是从最爱的姥姥离世的时候开始的

那时还小的我开始发现，生命的消逝是谁也无法预料的到的，

所剩下的，只有那些永远都回不去的旧时光

但每每翻到很久以前的照片，心里都很温暖

The old days somehow always seem to be with us.

The smell of air, friends we used to play with, the places we used to go...

All those memories are worth keeping.

那些旧时光仿佛历历在目

旧时的空气，小时的玩伴，曾经的挚友，那时候的我们，曾去过的那些地方…

那些回忆都非常珍贵

All those memories won't ever repeat themselves.

And that's why I want to record moments from everyday life.

I think that's what influenced me as a doctor.

曾经美好的瞬间不会再同样的出现

这是我想记录那些日常生活中的美好

我想这也受到我曾当过一段医生的影响

The year I had an internship in the hospital, seeing the patients come and go, and pain of being tortured by the disease, parents watching their children hurt, seemed to me to be feeling the exact same thing. The patients expressing an anxious look in front of the doctors' door, the duty in the pharmacy made me see and hear wailing sound from the emergency room.

医院实习的那年，每天目睹来来往往的病人被病魔折磨的痛苦不堪，还有父母看到孩子受伤时心疼的模样，病人在医生面前所表现出焦虑不安的神情，和在药房值班时听见从急救室传来嚎啕大哭的声音

At that time I became more aware of the transience and fragility of life.

那时我更加感受到了生命的短暂和脆弱。

The good times in life are fleeting.

I really want to capture the time, though I know that time never stops...

So that's when the “ Retain Mnemosyne” was born.

I hope to collect and share the wonderful moments of life through it.

生命中美好的时光总是转瞬即逝

我很希望留住时光，尽管我知道时光从不为谁停留...

I've been in Dalian for over a year now and I enjoy it here since it gives me the feeling of "blue, clean and romantic ” city, with beautiful scenery that can work as an inspiration at any moment.
