I have just lived in Dalian for two years, but I think my Daddy have been here for 5 years already. In Dalian, I really like the Peace Square because there’s a playground and a yummy Japanese Ramen restaurant there. My Daddy and Mommy like Donggang and Nanshan Street, and every summer we will go there to ride motorcycle, hike the mountain, and go to the park to eat cake while being surrounded by pretty flowers. Oh, right, I also have two little sisters.

来大连刚刚两年多，我的爸爸来大连好像已经五年了。我特别喜欢大连的和平广场，因为哪里有游乐场，还有好吃的日本拉面而我的爸爸妈妈更喜欢东港和南山街，每到夏天，都会去那边骑车爬山，去种满花的院子里吃蛋糕。对了，我还有两个妹妹。

Before I came to Dalian, Daddy was always working. He was rarely home so I didn't see him very often. Mommy said that Daddy was a flying man, and he was always flying in the sky. Actually, Daddy once told me a secret, he said he doesn’t like flying because he cannot do anything but sleep after taking off. Daddy flies on the plane, so he can only sleep while in the sky.

在我来大连之前，爸爸每天就知道工作，很少能看到他，妈妈说爸爸是空中飞人，总是飞来飞去。其实爸爸和我偷偷说过，他最不喜欢坐飞机，一动不动只能睡觉。

After I came to Dalian, Daddy stopped being a flying man. He started learning photography and he uploads the pictures on the internet. He told me that it is a gift for me and my sisters when we grow up. Oh, he also gave me a Bernese Mountain puppy that I named Guodong, Daddy and Mommy said she is the youngest member in our family, so I can say that she is my little sister. Guodong grew up too fast. Just after a few months, she could already run as fast as a lightning bolt, and I can’t catch up on her anymore. I remember the first time we took Guodong to travel with us, she was still living in a small box, now the box she’s living in became so big that even I can get in.

不过从我来了大连以后，爸爸就再也不当空中飞人了，还开始学习拍照把照片传到网上，说是送给我和妹妹长大后的礼物。对了，还送给我一只伯恩山小狗，我给她取名叫果冻，爸爸妈妈说这是我们家最小的妹妹，可是她却长得最快，才几个月我都抱不动了。记得第一次带着果冻去旅行时，她还是住在小箱子里，现在的箱子，我和妹妹都能钻进去了。

Mommy and Daddy really enjoy going on road trips. They always say, “Reading thousands of books is not as eye-opening as walking thousands of miles, walking thousands of miles is not as eye-opening as reading thousands of people”. Even though I don’t understand what it means, but I will learn more languages so that they don’t need to waste time and money while travelling in the future. I feel like next year I’m going to be like an adult because I have so many things to do. I will start learning Spanish, take Guodong to join a competition, and take the B-level trainer certification test. Xiao Fei shifu said, right now I am NGKC’s youngest trainer in the whole country. Daddy is also a C-level trainer, but Xiaofei shifu told me that I can be better than Daddy. I hope so.

爸爸妈妈特别喜欢开车旅行，他们总说“读万卷书不如行万里路，行万里路不如阅人无数”，虽然听不懂他们说的什么意思，但是我以后一定多学几种语言，然后给他们当翻译，省得每次出去旅行，他们都要比手画脚的忙乎半天。明年我感觉一下变成大人了，好多事情要做，要学习西班牙语，要带着果冻去比赛，还要去考B级指导手。听小霏师父说，我现在是NGKC全国最年轻的男生指导手。爸爸也是C级，但小霏师父和黑大大都说我牵的比爸爸好，希望下次考试我能超过爸爸。

I really, really, really love Dalian. After we moved here, things are not like how it used to be. Everything is better. Now Mommy and Daddy often take me to go hiking, catch crabs on the beach, pick fresh cherries and strawberries, and eat delicious seafood. We are happier.I hope after coming to Dalian you too can be happy. I hope you can stop becoming a flying man like my Daddy did. I hope everything becomes better, and your life happier, just like ours did.

我非常非常非常喜欢大连，因为爸爸妈妈来了大连以后，不像以前那样总不见人影了。现在经常带着我们去爬山，去海边抓螃蟹，去摘樱桃草莓，去吃各种海鲜。希望你们也能像我的爸爸妈妈一样，来到大连后能开开心心，再也不用做空中飞人了。
