I was born in  Philippines, but immigrated to Canada with my family when I was only four years old. My parents moved around a lot, so I was constantly navigating new schools, learning new bus routes, and meeting new friends. When I entered grade 6, we finally settled into the town I would come to call "home" and found the pals I would grow to call "family".

我出生在菲律宾，不过在我四岁的时候就和我的家人一起移民到了加拿大。因为各种原因，我们经常搬家，儿时的我就要经常转校，认识新朋友，再记住新的公交路线。好在我上小学6年级的时候，我们终于稳定下来了，在这个小镇里，我认识了一群十分要好的朋友。

While I admit that all the time I spent living in a constant state of change was stressful, and at times chaotic, I see now that it really helped me develop into the person I am today. 

虽然我不得不承认这样不断变化的生活给我带来了很大压力，甚至是混乱，不过也正因为如此，我才要感谢这些帮助我的朋友们，是他们造就了今天的我。

At 15 years old, I took my first photo with my mom's 5-megapixel Canon point-and-shoot digital camera, and quickly fell in love with the art of photography. Five years later, she gifted me my first DSLR. From that moment on, each photo I took became a passion project. Photography became my most stable hobby, and yet, that's what it remained for all these years - until now. 

在我15岁的时候，我用妈妈500万像素的佳能数码相机拍摄了我人生的第一张照片，从那时起，我便爱上了摄影这门艺术。五年后，妈妈送给了第一个单反相机，也是从这开始，我对摄影注入了大量激情，每一张照片都是一个美好的定格。摄影是将伴随我一生的爱好，每张照片我都珍藏至今。

Living in Dalian has opened up a world of opportunity for me. Here, I've been able to work on perfecting my craft by collaborating with local creatives, models, and friends. My time at the school I work at has connected me with some truly unforgettable people, who I know will be in my life forever. For the first time, I feel like I've found some direction, and I'm excited to see where my adventures will lead me!

在大连的生活的这段时间，真的是为我打开了一个充满机遇的新世界。我认识了许多当地艺术家，风格迥异的模特，也是这些朋友在帮助我进步，这是一群让我终身受益的朋友。人生第一次，找到了方向，我一定会带着激情一直前进的！

See, China was never a part of my original plan. Then again, I suppose some of the most special experiences we can encounter are the ones we never imagined would happen.

中国其实本不在我的人生计划之中，但是你看，有些时候，事情发生的就是这般奇妙，为你带来不一样的惊喜。
