Last time, we taught you about how to make WeChat Wallet to have easier life in China. There are many features that you can use after making your WeChat Wallet, one of it is adding up your mobile's balance.

With this post, we will teach you step by step for top up your balance without leaving your home!

1. Open WeChat.

2. Press the "Me" button at the bottom of the screen, then tap the "Wallet" option.

3. You will see the main Wallet options screen. Press "Mobile Top Up"

4. There are 2 version of the main mobile top up interface.

In version 1 (Chinese), type in your mobile number (A), or select the number you want on top up using the contact button (B). If you have added a phone number to your WeChat profile, it may appear in here automatically (you better check whether it's your current number or not).

In this version, WeChat automatically defaults to a 100 RMB payment (C), you can change this amout by tapping on the figure, towards the top of the screen. As aeward, there will be a small discount on the top up amount: you will pay slightly less, but still receive the amount you choose (Ex: pay 99.8 RMB for 100 RMB top up).

In version 2 (English), the step to put number is the same. However, you can choose the amount of balance straight by tapping the choices in Mobile Top Up and it will direct you straight to the next step.

A: Type in your mobile number.

B: Select a mobile number from your contact book.

C: Top up amount.

D: "Top up now"

5. If your WeChat follow the version 1, you will be asked to confirm the mobile phone number again. Check the number, and press the green button if it is correct.

A: "Please confirm the number"

B: "Cancel"

C: "Confirm"

6. Select the method you want to pay, you can choose between the card you added to your Wallet, your WeChat balance, or a new card. (The image will depends on the version 1 or 2).

A: "Select" payment method"

B: "100 RMB mobile top up"

C: "Card in WeChat Wallet"

D: "WeChat balance"

E: "Pay with a new card"

A: your phone number will appear here

B: the last 4 number of your bank card

7. Type in your WeChat Wallet password.

A: "Please type in your password"

8. When the payment is complete, you will receive a message from your phone company confirming your top-up. If your payment has been declined, you will get a WeChat message (in Chinese) that explaining the reason.
