No matter how active you may or may not be, this is for all of you!

As you might know, last Saturday, June 23rd, the "Olympic City Fun Marathon" was held in Dalian Sports Center. 

It was a great event, filled with people, and an opportunity to meet new friends.

Moreover, it was not just about running! 

Everything started around midday with a lot of activities to take part in, such as tennis, bowling, mini soccer, jumping rope, mini basketball, archery, and some plank challenge.

The main goal was to try them all in order to have each activity sealed on your leaflet.

Afterwards, at around 1.30pm, the "Fun Marathon" began. It consisted of running 3 times around the Sports Center for a total of 5km.

Everybody really enjoyed it. There was no pressure of coming in first place, it was all about having fun! There were people of different age groups, ranging from kids and university students to older ones who came with their sports associations just to spend an exciting Saturday in the open air. 

As soon as the running was over, everybody gathered around the main stage to have some fun altogether and enjoy a good number of performances. 

First of all, a group of 4 talented girls performed some choreographies while the audience was cheering out loud; then, a band of 8 a cappella singers delighted the public with a new version of Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of you”; later, two young kids hit the stage and made everybody move by playing some popular music; afterwards, it was time for an amazing hip hop dancing performance by other young talents; finally, around 5pm, an experienced DJ came on stage to keep the fun going!

It was definitely a Saturday to remember and we can’t wait for the next one already!
