The Park bar has just annouced this week that there should be NO smoking in the bar.  It is good for your lung for sure, but also saves your time to wash your smoke-smell hair and clothes. We hope more bars or public places can follow The Park.

WANDA GROUP together with government to build 10 primary school football camps in Dalian. 

20 years later in 2019, WANDA GROUP is back on the 'football' stage again, sponsoring 50 million RMB per year to help build world-class football camps here in Dalian. Dalian used to be a football city and has trained a good number of football players. Dalian later almost lost this in post-wanda days. Now it comes back with this good news again. 

More coaches from other countries may be needed soon in Dalian. Please watch out for this news.

XingHai Musical Fountain Starts in May

We thought there would only be one fountain in Dalian - the Donggang one. However, Xinghai is up for the fountain competition. 

We need more fountains for sure, but we need even much more cross cultural activities, events and even conferences for expats.

But if you would like to go and have a look, here is the timetable:

Free Metro Trips for Marathon

On May 4th, Dalian Metro will offer free trips for those who take part in the marathon 2019. Please notice you need to show your marathon tickets to take the metro for free. 

The metro starts at 5:00am and it runs every 5-8 minutes.

A birthday party is happening this Satuday @Bohemian Bar in the East Hotel. Drinks will be on your own, hugs are free. Kisses are not so welcome, especally kisses in French...  :-).  Should be a fun event. Go and say Hello. If you would like, guess the age of birthday person, wild guess allowed..
