This year's Golden Pebble Beach Gold Coast is not the same, in the West Coast area, currently 21 groups of sand sculptures are on display. Divided into six major themes, each sculpture has its own distinct form. The exhibition will be held for 1 month, thus making it "A Sand Sculpture Exhibition That Doesn't Fear Rain and Wind".

今年的金石滩黄金海岸线格外不一样，在海岸线的西一区，目前展出着21组沙雕，共分为6大主题，每一个都很有看点。历时1个月，打造出了这些“不怕风雨摧残”的沙雕。

How do these sculptures withstand the weather changes? Well, unlike the common sand sculptures we build on the beach oh hot sunny days, these sculptures were made with a new sand sculpture solidification method. The surface of the sculptures were covered using environmentally friendly materials, then sandblasting was done on it before the artists work on the last details. After the long process, the awesomely weatherproof sculptures were finally ready to be put on display.

为什么这么说呢，大家都玩过沙子，堆好的沙子经过风吹雨淋，很快就变形了，但是这21组沙雕却完全不用担心这个问题。这些作品采用了新型沙雕艺术品形体固化方法，用环保的材料，在沙雕作品表面制作与其贴合的壳体，在该壳体外面喷沙，再进一步塑形，变创造了这不会变形的沙雕作品。
