What are you thankful for?

The American Thanksgiving Day holiday is dedicated to remembering what we are thankful for and helping others in need. Join the Rotary Satellite Club of Dalian Kaifa Qu Club on November 26th as they celebrate the American Thanksgiving Day Holiday by hosting an "Operation Give Back" open-door charity event at Obsidian Waterfront Restaurant in Hongxinghai, Kaifa Qu.

Please bring one new or gently-used (clean) blanket or coat as price of admission. Traditional Thanksgiving Day meal of roast turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, Brussel sprouts, bread stuffing and cranberry sauce will be served for 150RMB. Buy a raffle ticket for a chance to win a fun prize.

"As the year begins to close and we celebrate the holidays with family and friends, let's remember those who are not as fortunate living right there in our community. Be a part of Rotary's 'Operation Give Back' and donate a gently used or new coat or blanket to Rotary and we will 'give it back' to people in need this winter," says Kaifa Qu Chairman Alexander McConnell.

Please join Rotary members in the spirit of thanksgiving to help those less fortunate and share a traditional American holiday meal. Also meet with local Rotary members to learn more about community service projects happening in Dalian.
