Dalian will enforce a car restriction rule based on odd and even license plates from 6:30 am to 12:00 pm, June 26 to 30, 2017, in order to create a sound traffic environment for the upcoming Summer Davos 2017.

Motor vehicles with odd number 1, 3, 5, 7 or 9 at the end of the license plates can run on the roads on odd-numbered days, while the vehicles with the even number 2, 4, 6, 8 or 0 will be allowed to drive on even-numbered days.

It will take the former Arabic numeral before the last letter as standard for those motor vehicles with tail number of letters.

During this period, the motor vehicles, tricars, low-speed trucks, cargo vehicles that ratified to carry 4.5 tons (or above) or dangerous goods and highly toxic chemicals will be prohibited to drive on the main city roads during the morning-evening rush hours (6:30 am-9:00 am; 5:00 pm-7:00 pm).

Excluding the passenger vehicles (above 9 seats), the yellow-label cars are prohibited to drive on the main city roads. New energy pure electric vehicles along with other motor vehicles in public service such as police vehicles, fire engines, ambulances, engineering wrecking vehicles and school buses are not restricted by the above traffic rule.

为有效改善2017大连夏季达沃斯年会期间我市大气环境质量，确保道路交通安全畅通，大连市政府决定，在中山区、西岗区、沙河口区、甘井子区、高新区的所辖区域，实行单双号限行措施，控制机动车尾气污染排放。

具体如下：

6月26日，6:30起 - 6月30日，24:00止

机动车以车牌（含临时行驶车号牌）最后一位阿拉伯数字为准（单号为1、3、5、7、9；双号为2、4、6、8、0；车牌尾号为字母的，以字母前1位阿拉伯数字为准），实行单号单日、双号双日行驶的限行措施。
